Composite Operative

Basic Pay £11.06 Overtime £15.36- 19.75

We run various shift patterns ranging from

Early shift (6.00 - 15.30) Monday – Thursday

Back shift (15.00 -12.30 am) Monday – Thursday

Day shift (7.00 -17.00) Monday – Thursday

Night shift (19.00 - 4.30) Monday – Thursday

Weekend shift (6.00 – 18.00) Friday - Sunday

Shift Premium is an additional £2.66 for Back shift/ Night shift and Weekend shift

Shift Premium is an additional 0.84p for Early shift

Pre-entry qualification/experience

This position would suit candidates who have a practical hands on background and have a good level of experience using hand tools in a manufacturing environment.

Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage but not essential.

Duties

• Basic gel coat application and laminating
• Identification of basic laminating defects
• Basic mould repairs and using repair filler
• Maintains immediate work area to an acceptable and safe standard
• Fill, rub, buff and polish damaged GRP moulds, working through grades of paper to achieve flawless finish.
• Recognise and understand chemicals and materials used.
