CNC Machinist

Basic Pay £11.06

Overtime £15.36- 19.75

We run various shift patterns ranging from

Early shift (6.00 - 15.30) Monday – Thursday

Back shift (15.00 -12.30 am) Monday – Thursday

Day shift (7.00 -17.00) Monday – Thursday

Night shift (19.00 - 4.30) Monday – Thursday

Weekend shift (6.00 – 18.00) Friday - Sunday

Shift Premium is an additional £2.66 for Back shift/ Night shift and Weekend shift

Shift Premium is an additional 0.84p for Early shift

Pre-Entry Qualification/experience

CNC programming/ extensive experience of machine activities. Completion of a recognised apprenticeship followed by 1 – 2 years post apprenticeship experience.

Duties

• To access programs for machines and amend/re-write programs as necessary
• Write new programs as required for new components
• Setting of machines prior to use
• Cut material to size using a variety of machines
• Shape, bend, fold, punch and drill components
• Works with a wide range of information requiring some interpretation
• Needs to be able to program a range of CNC machines – developing new products/programs as required on a frequent basis
